RockLogic and Stereum Services FlexCo: Leading in Blockchain Innovation and Security
As the managing partner of RockLogic, I’m excited to share what we’ve been working on recently. We’ve seen business growth and have some updates to share. From launching a new venture to enhancing our security measures and participating in significant industry initiatives, we’re continuing to push the boundaries in decentralized technology. Here’s a look at what’s been happening.
We recently founded Stereum Services FlexCo, a new company focused on advancing the Stereum open-source software. With David Mühlbacher and David Scheidl leading the way, the company is set to drive Stereum’s growth while also preparing to launch a SaaS product in the near future.
The goal of this venture is simple: make decentralized infrastructure easier and more efficient for everyone. We’re really excited about the potential here, especially in terms of how this SaaS product will help streamline Ethereum node operations.
At RockLogic, security is something we take seriously, especially as we prepare to launch new products. Recently, we completed a full security audit of our data center setup and SaaS software, both of which will be used by Stereum FlexCo in their product line. This audit is part of our commitment to ensuring that everything we offer is as secure and reliable as possible.
Alongside that, we’ve developed a detailed risk model for our operations, including Ethereum node management. This helps us stay ahead of potential issues and protect the integrity of our infrastructure. We’re also in the process of obtaining SOC 2 certification, and we plan to continue pursuing other certifications to further enhance our security and compliance.
We’ve been actively participating in Lido Finance’s simple Distributed Validator Technology (DVT) testnets. Our main focus has been integrating the simple DVT module (SDVTM) and the community staking module (CSM) with Stereum. These integrations are aimed at improving the experience for node operators, making staking more secure and efficient.
Earlier this year, we showcased our solutions at EthCC in Brussels, Belgium. The response was overwhelmingly positive, which reinforced our belief that these modules will make a meaningful impact on the Ethereum ecosystem.
Over the past few months, we’ve significantly expanded the RockLogic and Stereum teams. We’ve brought in specialists in DevOps, data center certifications, and software development to ensure we have the right people to drive our projects forward. This growth reflects the increasing complexity of the work we’re doing and positions us to continue delivering innovative and secure solutions.
Community engagement remains a huge part of what we do. We were honored to participate in Vienna Blockchain Week, where we shared insights and discussed the future of decentralized technology.
Additionally, we organized workshops for Stereum with DLT Austria, providing hands-on training and spreading awareness about the power of open-source software. We’ve also had the opportunity to speak at EthCC in Brussels and EthBratislava, where we discussed some of our latest developments and the broader implications for Ethereum.
Recently, the Ethereum Foundation (EF) came under scrutiny for transferring nearly $100 million to Kraken. While some saw this as concerning, it’s important to look at the bigger picture. This decision is a strategic one, designed to secure the long-term sustainability of the Ethereum network.
By diversifying its holdings and securing funds through a reputable exchange like Kraken, the EF can continue to support key projects and maintain Ethereum’s development. This isn’t about selling out—it’s about ensuring that Ethereum projects in need remain robust and well-funded in the years to come.
It’s no secret that the price of Ether has experienced some volatility recently. While some are alarmed by the dip, it’s important to remember that price fluctuations are a natural part of the market. Ethereum is still making major strides in technology and adoption, and these long-term developments matter far more than short-term price swings.
At RockLogic GmbH and Stereum Services FlexCo, we are well-positioned to lead in the evolution of blockchain infrastructure. Our focus on security, compliance, and community engagement will guide us as we work to make decentralized technologies more secure, scalable, and accessible. We are excited about the future and look forward to sharing more milestones with you as we continue on this journey!
Thank you for joining us!
